Mam you are a fighter and an inspiration for all. My mother finished 8 cycles of chemo (4 AC + 4 Paclitaxel). From 18 march her radio therapy will start. She has ER/PR negative and HER2 (+++). Will you share your radiotherapy experiences? How you tackled radio therapy's side effects?
I am new here. I am 42 years old ,BRCA1 positive and TNBC carrier. I have joined this forum because of your post as our situation very much same. I finished chemo in September. I had 3 FAC and 12 weekly cycles of Carboplatin and Taxol. My tumor was 1.9cm and 1 lymphnode affected. Surgeon took out 26 lymph nodes. Genetic counselor suggested double mastectomy and oophrectomy for preventive treatment. I am planning for that. I am so scared about recurrence.
May I know the size of your tumor and if any lymph node involved? Do you have any family history of breast or ovarian cancer? I am the first breast cancer carrier in my family, it's very shocking.
