Decisions on chemo and radiation are based on many factors in the histopathology report and then, by assessing the patient for fitness. It is beyond the scope of this forum to comment on any form of treatment or any second opinion, by just reading a few lines for some report. It is not that easy, trust me. There is much more to a cancer patient than a few lines of reports. My suggestion is, please sit with your Oncologist and understand why has chemo been suggested. And once convinced, please go ahead with it. In case of doubt, you can take an opinion from another Medical Oncologist in your city. There are tens and hundreds of Oncologists in Mumbai, the Surgeon who operated upon her can guide you.
Bhopal and Indore, both have Centres for chemotherapy you can very well do the chemo there
Just follow your doctors advice. Your mother will soon be fine, don’t worry.
Even my mom was diagnosed with the same.she is undergoing treatment.completed 4cycles os Ac chemo.may I know the stage of your mom any imp points from her path report.
It seems your Oncologist has probably seen high risk features of relapse in your mother's clinical scenario
And in all probability feels that your mom will be safe to.undergo this treatment to help beat and conquer this cancer.
I completely agree with Dr Sumeet here, please consult your Oncologist and try and understand the statistics if you were not to take the treatment Vs the statistics if you had treatment.
He will be the best judge to help u make that decision.
Please seek 2nd opinion if you re not convinced or unhappy with your current /past consultation.
