Oncotype DX Report Error

Recently my sister did Oncotype DX (Breast Cancer Recurrence Score) through Medilink Bangalore (HO Exact Sciences USA). We received report indicating a score of 14 but later on the company retested on its own and sent a fresh report with a score of 31. This was quite disappointing for us.

I came to know that few other patients in India have experienced the same error. I shall be obliged if anyone who faced the same situation would contact me.

This is quite a costly test and the sequences are far reaching.

yes indeed, this is disturbing. Am not aware of anyone but will keep posted if I come to know of any patient having had a change in score.

Did they give any reason as to why this would have happened?

An audit found some discrepancies in the results and asked company to repeat few tests. I am going to ask them for refund.
