Please any one clarify what is the minimum time to go second pet ct scan,my onco suggesting second pet in a 1 1/2 month gap whether it is correct?

Yes. At least 6 weeks gap.

It is usually 6-8 weeks. But it depends on how pushy, desperate, eager and anxious patient are about their illness. In clinical practice, very rarely we suggest such frequent scanning, but there are some exceptional situations where we do so. But mostly its the patients demands which dictate 6 weekly scan.
The clinical context or situation is more important.
