Clarification regarding Lymphedema compression sleeve

My compression sleeve for my left arm is so tight that it causes depressions on my arm and also causes unbearable discomfort. Is it normal or should I get the size of the sleeve changed?

If there is depression in one place only, and that too somewhere in the middle of distance between the ends of sleeve, then you may want it to be changed.

As for discomfort, my patients too feel the same. They tell me, discomfort remains for some time and goes away at other time. Ultimately, the discomfort lessens.

But it's very important to see that your sleeve fitting is proper. It is not unduly tight. Get the sizing evaluated by your garment supplier.
