Update : my mother will be going through her 8th chemo today. Doctor has now asked to do a Scan after 9th instead of earlier plan to do it after 12th. Is it ok?

My mother is doing quite well in terms of appetite, activity etc.

Vineet - it might be to see the effectivity of chemo - there is nothing harm to do the scan

It's good to know your mother is doing well. I am sure it must have helped you overcome all the apprehension you would have had when your mother started the chemotherapy.

Like kontak mentioned above, the reason of doing a PET CT would be to check whether the chemotherapy is working or not. I don't think there would be any other reason.

one doctor suggested Transtuzumab 440 mg injection after completing 8 cheom and another doctor suggested 3 + 3 chemo and with3 cheom Trabtuzuman 440 mg to be taken total 17 injection pls guide me
