Time required to use Bra after operation

I have been operated for Right breast on 17th Jan 2015. How long should I wait for the right Bra.

Whether whole breast is removed or only lump

Right breast is removed and lump in left side has been removed.

Pl wait till the wounds of surgery heal properly. It may take 5 to 6 months then you can go

If this has been a Breast Conserving Surgery, you must wear a brassiere as early as possible.

If this has been a Mastectomy, then to wear artificial padding, you must wait for a month or so from date of surgery, so that the wound has healed, scar is healthy and the surface of the skin is uniform, so as to allow proper placement of the prosthesis.
