Dear sabhar,

Please do not worry; from what you describe (and you would obviously have cancer in your mind), it does not seem to be anything related to cancer at all! It might just be a fatty lump in the arm pit. If it does not go away in a few days, please do visit a surgeon, as what you say to be 'small marble like' might be a node (or may just be the underlying bone!), nothing more. Such nodes can also be because of infection.

Do you feel any such similar lump in the right breast?

no there is no lump in the breast neither internally nor externally as i keep on checking my breast by doing self examination. sometimes i do sleep in backward position facing my stomach towards bed ,this also cause pain in my breast .should i stop sleeping in this position? also if that node and that pain does'nt go in few days...whom shoud i visit !can u give me some refrence.i live in jangpura ,pin code 110014,new delhi. should i visit gynocologist for this?

1. Sleeping in that position will not cause any pain. No need to stop sleeping like that.

2. If the pain doesn't settle, or if you feel, that there is still that 'marble' like knot in the arm pit, you can visit any good surgeon, should not be a problem. If you do not know any, let me know, and I shall recommend you someone.

Also, be it pain, or be it a node, you need not worry at all; these are very common symptoms and are in no way related to cancer. So let those thought not bother you at all. These are symptoms which many women face, some time or the other, and they will subside.

If you have time, read the two examples on this page, they will surely help you:
