please suggest me.. getting confused

my name is ramya i am 24 .I have breast pain in my left breast near armpit from past 7 days. i took 2 tablets from medical shop now it is ok. there is no pain in my breast. but feeling confused regarding my pain. is it cause for breast cancer?

Hi plz do consult your doctor and get the necessary test done fir precaution sake these things should not be delayed also see if you have a family history for that there is a test to check for ur genetic occurance of cancer cells

Also check for lump and consult few good doctor

I don't think there is anything to worry about. Pain is a very common symptom. As long as there is no lump, it should not be a problem. Only if it does not settle and continues for a while, you may want to take a medical opinion. In any case, this is something very common and not related to cancer.

It sounds very much like you might have pulled a muscle doing something and not realized it, as the pain has improved. If it returns or you find a lump or other abnormal appearance to your breast then get into a doctor for a check.

Is there a video or other resource on this site showing how to do a self check? If not, I hope we can get one up and flagged somehow. It is something many women (and men, more so, but they also can develop breast cancer) are shy about. It proved to be the way I found my cancer, and in my case very early, thank goodness! I am now a strong advocate for monthly breast checks!

Hi Ramya! as Dr.said nothing to be worried about. If you are interested you can do a google search for the correct way to do a breast self exam.
