Treatment finished today!!

Just back from having my last herceptin injection, had a years course of them and it feels great to be done! Just waiting for reconstruction now, should be before end of year.

Brilliant news,I had my last treatment of fec-t also today,4weeks to operation then radiotherapy after Christmas,.Well done you hope your opinion goes well,it's such a relief isn't it to get through another part of the treatment, I know I'm so relieved to finish chemo,love a day best wishes,Vicky. my only side effect is painful feet from nerve damage from chemo and herceptin but i am here and that is the main thing.

I did struggle to get back to a sense of normality - felt my life had stood still for 2 years during treatment while those around me had moved on but i am getting there.

Listen to your body, it has been through a major trauma and needs time to recover. Take time out for yourself...xx

I'm in the same boat. Last herceptin due on Friday+ waiting on reconstruction. Plus had mammogram last Friday+ all's clear. This is a good week
