So I've finished radiotherapy despite my ongoing seroma issues. I won't be going on hormone therapy as the risks outweigh the benefits and I've accepted my boobie now looks like the hide of a rhino's arse...Had to visit the breast clinic today and will see the surgeon on Thursday an angry purple nodule on my breast turns out to be a haematoma, which needs investigating.

Has anyone had similar issues after radiotherapy?

Thanks for listening!

Sorry to hear you are still having problems , I had issues with seromas but nothing major. Im not sure why a haematoma would occur, are you on blood thinners by any chance? Other than that just massage cream in a couple of times a day . I hope you get answers on Thursday, best wishes x

Thanks for your reply. I've been on clopidogrel since Nov 22 following a stroke, It didn't cross my mind to consider that. Hopefully I'll know more tomorrow! x

My husband is on same medication, he gets some awful bruises at times . Hopefully all will be okay tomorrow at the check up and you get some reassurance . X

Me too, I saw my surgeon on Thursday, I have an abscess a late complication of the surgery and radiotherapy. Antibiotics prescribed, swap taken for testing. Again thank you for taking the time to chat with me x
