So the patient transport arrived early I got hear at 6;20 😱I was first on the list... The afternoon list 😁

My surgery was put in jeopardy as my sugar levels were too high, thankfully the team came up with a solution an insulin drip before, during and after surgery.

The lump and margin was wider and deeper than thought. Sentinel lymph nodes done. It's now a two week wait for results.

It was a restless night but I'm out of bed..listening to the hustle and hustle of the HDU.

I'll be seeing the diabetic team and likely move to the ward for the night.

I'm happy the journey has started! πŸ™πŸ˜˜πŸ’ͺ
