Up & down days with Letrozole and/or Zoladex injections

Hello,

How is everyone? I was just wondering if anyone had up and down moods since taking Letrozole and Zoladex injections? If so any tips on the down moods?

I believe the up and down is part having this disease. I do take an anti depressant it helps unbelievably but I have been taking since way before cancer. I have added 2 cinnamon bark capsules a day recommended dosage. It has made a huge difference for me.

Hi Sami, hope you’re well.

Ugh, tell me about it. I’m on tamoxifen and zoladex. It’s driving me bonkers. And yes the mood swings are up and down. I’ve never been like this myself and I just hate the person this cancer has made me into. My hospital provided me with counselling which helped, but I haven’t been in 5 months oops. Other than that I think I’m just accepting it. Accupuncture helps with my hot flushes and moods but obviously hasn’t got rid of it. I guess these side effects are part of this journey. The fact I’m alive is what I’m trying to focus on. Any other tips from anyone would help

Yes ! My mood is up and down. I've been wondering if it is hormonal and my down mood was 'the time of the month'? I've started keeping a diary to see if it is. Also we have all been through a lot and it might just be everything catching up with us as well of the constant worry of something else going wrong or it coming back. Ive had a couple of reiki sessions through my Macmillan centre which was a great way to relax and helped me through my first year mammogram. x

It's just annoying feeling great 1 day, then next day feeling low and moody. Not to mention my patience had shortern as I use to be very patient within situations. Just have to find things to help when feeling low!
