Pins and needles

Hi, wondering if anyone else is suffering with pins and needles in there hands? I finished my treatment nearly four years ago, and in the early days afterwards I had terrible pins and needles as well as dumbness in my hands. Anyway it seemed to go away, but recently it has come back. I am a little worried. Can anyone advise? Thank you 😔

If you are taking tamoxafin that will be the cause as I get it in my hands as well x

I had chemo and am now on taxmoifen and suffer from both numbness in fingers and toes and also foot pain.  I have tried various things from reflexology to wearing comfy shoes but nothing helps.  I have decided that this is just something that I have to live with and might as well try and look glam in my heels!

Its a small price to pay for being cancerfree.

I am still going through treatment and have numb fingertips, toes and soles of my feet. I was hoping it would all ease and feeling come back but the more folk I talk to the less likely it seems :-(

Hi.  i have peripheral nerve damage in my feet.. but my hands are ok apart from the damage the needles did to my veins from chemo.

i always wear slippers as cold bathroom and kitchen tiles make my feet feel numb and it takes ages to go away. also hot water too. ive noticed recently as i got my sandals out that my feet are very pale so im making an effort to let them see the sun a bit more.

i think extremes of temperature will be an ongoing issue. im diabetic too so i make sure i have all my health checks.

see your doctor though. there is medication to help but you may have had enough of medication.
