I have had 1 chemical and one miscarriage & due to my joints all becoming painful had some tests and came back with High ANA. I’m looking into this myself as fertility wasn’t mentioned when I got the results and a lot of women seem to suffer fertility issues when they have this reading.
I’ve phoned my Dr today who needs to get advice. I told her what I have read others have been prescribed.
I’m unsure which specialist this falls under? I am pretty lost from here,
I feel I’m conceiving and not Implanting & need some help. I have a rheumatologist and my 2nd app is in Dec. I’m 38 in January and have a 3 year old I conceived with no problems

There can be many reasons for recurrent miscarriages - unfortunately, NHS would only do additional tests if you’ve had 3 or more miscarriages in a row.
I ended up pursuing the ivf route due to my age (I’m over 40) - fertility investigations didn’t reveal any problems but it was found that I have a very high ANA - this test wasn’t done as part of fertility but was an accidental finding whilst testing for something else. I ended up seeing a rheumatologist - tests didn’t show any active autoimmunes. The ivf consultant didn’t seem bothered with high ANA in general but as part of fertility investigations they did test for some autoimmunes which could cause miscarriages/fertility issues - eg. antiphospholipid syndrome and Hashimoto’s.
Eventually after another miscarriage and a failed ivf cycle with a normal embryo I ended up doing additional tests, which showed elevated NK cells. Based on this finding I had an ivig infusion treatment, which also happens to be used for some autoimmunes. Whatever the reason was, the ivig treatment helped me to get pregnant.
I think rheumatologist should be able to advise on autoimmunes and which ones can affect the ability to conceive/cause miscarriages. Though I think this would generally fall under a fertility consultant who specialises in recurrent miscarriages.
