I am currently 10 weeks pregnant with a baby conceived via IVF. Since 5 weeks, I have been experiencing the work all day nausea (no vomiting) which has impacted my day to day. I can’t eat and drink water a lot as I don’t feel well. I feel so guilty because I am not enjoying my pregnancy so far after trying conceive for almost 2 years. I am normally very active and now the simplest tasks seems like mammoth tasks.
Is anyone out there with some advice or in the same boat as me?

H! 👋 similar boat to you, just shy of 10 weeks with 5d blastocyst via FET. Also been sick since 5 weeks. Sickness has been up and down but early hours today struck down with vomiting, it’s been about 12 hrs of it straight now. I’m very lucky to have a 3.5yr little girl thanks to IVF. But I feel like this time round I’ve had a kicking with illness, I can hardly function. I hope you feel better soon, sorry it’s not a helpful post but your not in it alone! X
So sorry to hear that it has ramped up. It is helpful not to feel alone in this. I just reached my 12 weeks today so I stopped my oestrogen and progesterone. I hope that maybe with less progesterone in my body the sickness will stop as it is so hard to function and work all day. By 3pm I am tired and so nauseous that I have to stop it all. Did you feel like this with your first pregnancy? X
Morning, I keep thinking the progesterone must be adding to the sickness too fingercrossed things ease off for you soon. My elevated sickness yesterday must have been a bug as my little girl was up all night with the same thing! I’m kind of relieved, even if it made for a tough next night.
I’m definitely more nauseous this time round, I think it’s actually worse than throwing up as there not even that temporary relief after being sick. This is definitely the last time!
I think so too. And maybe our levels of progesterone are already high on their own and if you add more then it might be too much for our bodies.
Sorry to hear that you and your daughter have been poorly. Hopefully it is a quick big which will go away.
Fingers crossed it eases out as I had a horrible evening full of acid reflux which was so annoying.
I will let you know if I find some relief in the next few days. I am going for my dating scan tomorrow so hopefully all is good and on track. So nerve wracking ivf pregnancies are.
It went well 💕 and the baby is developing well too. It was so nice to see it moving on the scan yesterday and to get the all clear for now. Though the nausea is getting worst now during the day and I need to eat every 2hrs otherwise I have these low blood sugar palpitation starting.
