Please help! What is this pain?!

This is my second baby (4th pregnancy). I was so out of it with my son and was induced I cant even remember what it felt like, I just remember the pain!

I'm now 33+6 weeks. Had a scan today n it showed our little girl weighing 5lb 11oz!

I've got horrendous heaviness in my vagina which is really uncomfortable and borderline painful. If I move, the pain shoots up and has reduced me to tears!

Anyone help me as to what it could be please? I dont wanna call MAU for no reason especially in these circumstances.

Thank you x

It could be lightening crotch which is baby basically touching your cervix and it’s very painful, if you’re worried please call the MAU, it’s better to be safe than sorry xx

Is this normal hun? I think I'll give them a call for reassurance. I'm trying to put it off but it's not easing x

I honestly couldn’t tell you for sure as I’m a first time mum and wouldn’t want to give you false information xx

Lightening crotch is very common, but can feel different for everyone. If it is painful to the point of making you cry or if you don't feel right, definitely call your midwives for reassurance, they'd rather speak to you hundreds of times over nothing than there be a problem. Good luck x
