First trimester little to no sleep each night

I am almost 6 weeks pregnant.

I had implantation bleeding (I realised what it was a few days afterwards) but ever since that day, i have not been able to sleep for more than 3 hours.

It doesn't matter how tired i am, what time i go to bed - i sleep 3 hours on the dot and I am awake like clockwork and cannot get back to sleep, followed by a full day of work. Its now been 2 and a half weeks of this and its badly affecting me - I cannot think straight, my memory is affected, i have began hallucinating and depression has began to set in.

I saw my GP about my sleep today. He immediately said that he cannot do anything to help me and dismissed that being pregnant has anything to do with having less sleep and literally sent me away with no help or advice.

Has anyone else experienced insomnia since getting pregnant? I have no one to help me and I need to know if this is normal or if I can actually get help but my GP practice is just really poor.

Any and all advice is welcome.

I’ve had awful pregnant insomnia - it is a thing unfortunately! I sometimes stay up all night and all day (on a weekend usually so I can relax) and then by the evening I’m exhausted and sleep through the night
