why have i got an appointment with anaethesist

got a letter saying i have an appointment with anaethatist but unsure why? i have ME/CFS and wondering if it could be to do with this. has anyone else had an appointment with anaethatist and what did it cover?

debating if i can get away with cancelling as will be a 3 hr round trip for the appointment on the bus. plus appointment time.

Hi, i had an appointment with an aneasthatist when i was pregnant because i was in a risk category for a ceasaraen. I had pgp (& am over 40) and wasn't going to be allowed to go past my due date. I ended up for one reason and another having my consultation over the phone. Might be worth a go?

thanks. might see if i can get a phone consultation as will otherwise find it very draining and not that safe as have no-one to travel with me.
