Could I be pregnant?

I took an ovulation test on the 21st of March which came back positive I’ve been having unprotected sex with my partner and I am now 2 weeks late on my period but keep getting negative pregnancy tests... HELP! I have been trying to conceive for the past 3 years with no luck at all. Do you think it’s best for me to go to my gp for tests on weather or not I can conceive?

I believe GPs will see you after one year of unsuccessfully trying, to refer you for fertility testing. Are your periods normally irregular or late like this? It may be worth seeing your doc for a blood test anyway if your period still doesn’t arrive soon, in some cases it takes a little longer to get a positive from a urine test. Fingers crossed it’s the result you want!

I’ve never really thought about going to my GP before as I’m still quite young & have really bad anxiety so dont really feel comfortable speaking to my doctor about it (especially because I had a male doctor) but I’ve now changed GP which has made it a lot easier. I wouldn’t say my periods are irregular but I have missed a month now and again. Sometimes I can go up to 47 days without a period and I’ve always put it down to when I was on the conceptive pill. I’m going to make an appointment first thing Monday morning if my period still hasn’t come and still getting negative results.... hoping for the best🤞
