My girlfriend is in the pill but then at the start of this month she came on her period two days after we had intercourse and she had only finished her last one about 2 weeks before. The past week or so she has had stomach aches coming and going and side pains and sore breasts. So I was wondering is she pregnant.

I'd say it's pretty unlikely.. If she's only just started the pill it could just be messing with her. The pill is something like 99% effective so it's unlikely to get pregnant on it but it does happen. I'd wait to see if her next period comes along normally and if it doesn't, take a test as the bleed could have been implantation bleeding.. Again, I wouldn't worry about it too much as it's very unlikely and stress messes with these things to!

If your girlfriend is worried about being pregnant it might be a good idea for her to take a pregnancy test if it has been three weeks since you had intercourse? If she has taken all of her pills at the correct time then she should be okay. However, because of her symptoms and irregular periods it would be a good idea to take a test to be sure.
