Oversized belly?

hi im lorna and im approx 6 weeks pregnant and my belly is big . This is my 3rd child. Eldest 16 and youngest 3 years. Im 40 years old and there is twins on my husbands side. Why is my belly so big ? My belly is normally quite flat as im quite slim.

Congratulations 😊😊 I too am 6 weeks nxt Wednesday, and my belly is larger than normal , I had IVF and had 2 embryos transferred , so I could quite possibly be having twins !!! It's my first pregnancy , and I have my first scan Monday when I will be 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant . I'm so excited . Xx

I'm the same my 3rd and it's blown up! My scan showed twins but one didn't form so they checking it at my 12week to see if it's gone or anything formed. My midwife said your body is like memory foam the muscles are looser from.having two kids already and your body knows what's happening so it's preparing. Dunno if it's true but makes sense.

Hi there i m the same have been since i found out i was pregnant im now 12 weeks but look bigger, as far as an emergency scan showed there is only one. during your first trimester you bloat alot plus with having a child lreay your muscles know where they need to move to and move easier and faster. Twins running on dad's side doesnt affect you as youd need to have a history of women releasing two eggs on your side for it to be a genetic thing.

Even if it were twins at this stage they are too small to be showing like that. a 12 week baby is only six cm long.
