7 weeks late!

Hi.

I came offrom of my contraceptive pill (microgynon 30) on the 24th February and had the withdrawal bleed. I am yet to have my period which is just over 7 weeks later!

Should I be worried and should I take a pregnancy test?

Hi there

If your period is late I would suggest taking a pregnancy test just to be sure. Some women do find there is a delay in their period when they have come off the contraceptive pill but I would always suggest taking a test so you know either way.

Best wishes

Katherine
