Hi there

The advice is if you vomit less than three hours after taking your ellaOne tablet, then you will need to take another one to protect against pregnancy (you have up to 120 hours to access them), or seek an alternative method of emergency contraception such as the IUCD (coil). So I would recommend going back to the provider and explaining what has happened and they will advise you on what steps you should take. If you can't get to see them straight away it might be an idea to call instead.

I hope this helps.

Best wishes

Katherine

Hi there

You really are best to seek help if you vomit within 3 hours of taking EllaOne. I would recommend going to a contraceptive clinic today if you can.

Best wishes
