Hi I had my coil removed on the 8th June I had spotting the day before and the day of and day after I had regular period bleed I have been using an app to work out when I would be ovulation etc and wasn't due my period till 6th July but had brown spotting yesterday (30th June) and full on period today! I am normally regular just wondered if this is a delay from coil removal? Could I still be pregnant? Or is this likely to be my period?

Hi there,

If you had a full period, even if it was a bit early, it is extremely unlikely that you are pregnant. It might be a result of having the coil removed that your period arrived a bit early. Your body will settle back in to a its normal routine soon, so do try not to worry.

Best wishes,

Katherine
