Scan day

I'm so scared I'm 6wk 3 day scan today I can't sleep and I just feel sick I'm so scared

It will be okay, remember don't drink too much, they will require a urine sample, but you'll need an empty bladder for the scan as it will probably be an internal scan. What time is your appointment? Keep us posted xx

They didn't need a sample last time already been for one at 4 week 6 day and yea it is a internal not the best of things. It's at 10:30 boyfriends got the day of work to come with me. Just worried. Wasn't a planned pregnancy I'm only 18 but I'm happy and I've grown very attached to the Idea of being a mum

Sorry don't mean to sound dumb but how come your having a scan so early? X

I had a small bleed around 4 weeks and have been spotting old blood in my discharge so they want to check everything is okay. A lot of people have early scans

I'm sure you'll be fantastic parents, I've only just had the opportunity to start trying for a baby in the past 18 months. 1st one wasn't successful. I'm nearly 38, so it's very worrying for me as I'm older., got my midwife appointment on Tuesday. I really hope little bean is being good and growing normally (last one stopped growing) let me know how it goes. xxx
