I need to know if I can be pregnant if I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend 6 days after I had the 3 month shot? And it was on the fertile day of ovulation?? Please help!

Hi there

It depends if you were on time for this injection (if it was a follow on injection?). Your injection would cover you if you were starting it for the first time and if it was given on day one of your period or while you were on another contraception before. If not then you should use condoms for first 7 days. If you didn't use condoms, or didn't take the follow on injection on time or didn't start it on the first day of your period then I would recommend taking a pregnancy test 3 weeks after the unprotected sex.

I hope this help

Best wishes

Katherine
