A bit of Nausea but constant colds! Advice please.x

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, I'm nearly nine weeks pregnant, this is my second pregnancy as I missed carried my first last Christmas.

I've had nausea on and off but I've had two colds and flu like symptoms in the past three weeks! I have had my flu jab about 5 months ago now. I have spoken to the doctor and they don't seem worried and that I just need to take paracetamol and lots of fluids.

I've got my booking appt on the 12th of May.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm just really worried after what happened last time although I didn't have any of this last time, didn't even have nausea.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.x

Hi there

I am sorry to hear about your miscarriage last Christmas.

If you are worried and feel waiting until the 12th May is too long as it a bit of a wait you can talk to a midwife over the phone. Nausea is nothing to worry about, but because of your history I would call the GP practice and ask them to put you on to a midwife just so you can put your mind at ease.
