im 14 andmy boyfriends 16,we had sex for the first time onthe 10th april without any protection, i need a morning after pill but im too scared to get it at a clinic, as i have bad confidence... any help??

Hi Charlie,

Oh please don't be too anxious! Going to get emergency contraception, if you don't want to fall pregnant, is the best thing to do - and it's a responsible thing to do at this point.

There is a type of emergency contraceptive pill called Ella One which you can buy from pharmacies or get for free from your GP or a sexual health clinic that works up to 5 days after having sex, so that's still an option.

Do you have a friend who could go with you to the pharmacy? Or your boyfriend?

Or Do you know if you have a Brook clinic near you? They run special clinics for young people so that might be a good option.

The best thing to do is to try to sort this out sooner rather than later. But try not to panic. I know it's scary and you might feel embarrassed but this happens to most women at some point in their lives. You haven't done anything to be ashamed of. Xxx
