Home pregnancy tests are usually very reliable if used correctly, but it can take up to 21 days after you conceived for the test to show up as "positive" as there may not be enough of the pregnancy hormone in your urine for the test to pick it up. If your period hasn't arrived yet, the best thing to do would be to make an appointment with you GP or pop down to your local sexual health / contraceptive clinic. They can offer you a blood test and also go through your dates with you and check if there is anything else which might be affecting your cycle.
