I had unprotected sex while I was on my fertility window. does this mean that I am guaranteed to get pregnant? I'm not on any type of birth control. I've had unprotected sex several times and out of all those times I haven't gotten pregnant.

unsure of pregnancy.
Hi there,
No, unfortunately there are no guarantees that you will fall pregnant when you have sex around the time of ovulation, and it can sometimes take a little while longer than we would like to conceive. The best thing to do is try to relax, stay healthy and have regular sex, and you should also start taking folic acid, which is very important for the healthy development of your pregnancy. If you haven't fallen pregnant after one year of trying, or sooner if you are over 35 or have had problems in the past e.g. an ectopic pregnancy, then you should go to your GPs just to check there isn't anything going on that might be affecting your chances of conceiving.
There's more information about conceiving on the NHS website here which might be of use: nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy...
If you are trying to avoid pregnancy, you need to use contraception throughout your cycle.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Katherine
No it does not guarantee that you are pregnant. You need to stay in close contact with your doctor and let him or her know how things are going for you. Good luck and God bless!
