me and my partner are trying to have a baby for 2 months.. and its not working yet.. i just got my period rigth now (january 7) when do you think is the best date again for us to try? thanks!

Hi Crissa,

The NHS website has lots of information about the best time in your cycle to conceive, which is for most women around 14 days after the first day of your period – but each woman’s cycle is different:

Unfortunately it can take a little bit longer than we would like to conceive. Try to stay relaxed and healthy, as this will give you the best chance of falling pregnant. It’s also important to start taking folic acid, if you haven’t already, before you conceive for the healthy development of your baby. There’s more information about pregnancy supplements here:
