My fiancé got a positive result for a pregnancy test. She's not sure how fertile she is cause of how irregular her periods are. So she doesn't know if she wants to keep it or not based on if she's going to be able to get pregnant again.

Hi there,

Irregular periods are not necessarily an indication of fertility problems, but as your fiancée is concerned about her chances of conceiving in the future an appointment with her GP to discuss this might be useful before making a decision about whether or not to continue with this pregnancy. Perhaps just talking it through with them might help, and they may also be able to advise about any potential underlying causes of her irregular periods. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help with this, but I do think a face to face discussion with a GP might be a good idea.

I hope this is of some help. Do let me know if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,

Katherine
