Missed period..

I have been having unprotected sex with a guy for the past 2 1/2 weeks now, the first time we had sex was sept. 8, about 3-4 days after I had some light pink discharge after I had gone pee, I didn't think anything of it at the time, then I started feeling nauseous and felt like I just want to throw up all the time, bloated, very tired, very moody, and I have some cramping in my abdomen, and I am peeing a lot. I am 4 days late and I'm kinda scared as to what I should do. Any advice?

Hi Emm_kat253

It's totally normal to be feeling scared, have you spoken to anybody about it like a friend or the guy you have been sleeping with? I know you are scared but perhaps it would be a good idea to take a pregnany test so that you have a better understanding of what is going on. Would being pregnant be something you wanted? x

I've been wanting a child, yes. But under the circumstance that I am in, I don't think having a child is best. I had a pregnancy scare once when I was with my ex and the outcome was not good. He called me a liar and said that I wasn't, 3 months later, I miscarried and never told him, and our relationship was never the same. That is why I am scared to tell the guy...and yes, I have been talking to a friend, he told me that I should tell the guy, that I need to tell him how I am feeling, so I am going to...

If you don't mind me asking Emm, how long have you been with your new guy for? It sounds like your previous partner treated you terribly and I am so sorry you had to go through that. But I do agree with your friend that it is best to tell the guy so you can talk through your feelings about what happened before and what is going on now. Have you been able to get hold of a pregnancy test? X

It sounds like you have a really good friend at your side which is great. Yes I agree maybe take the test first and see what the result is and how you feel about it before talking through your options with the guy. I hope everything works out ok. x
