Bowel Cancer.

I have sent a stool sample off. I know before I get any results I have Bowel Cancer. I have all the symptoms. I am so depressed. If I have a blockage, I wonder what they can do about it.

Until you have had a proper, checked result you do not know what you have. It might be anything. Sending a poo sample off is only an indication of blood in your poo - not why. That comes later.

This page is to help people who have a confirmed illness called Ulcerative Colitis (UC) or Crohn's Disease - they are called Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD). They can be quite serious and can even develop into cancer over a period of several years. Both of these illnesses can cause blood and can block. There are others too.

I wish you luck but try not to overthink your problem. Doesn't help.

Thank you Hily.. I just get myself in a state at times and I Panick. I do have Coeliac.

Hi dear. I am an over thinker my self and I try to avoid negative thinking but obviously sometimes observing symptoms that indicate a serious disease maybe overwhelming. I hope that you are well and are in good health.

I hope everything goes well for you. I didn't have cancer. Sometimes I just get so anxious . I must stop googling and looking at the negative things. Best wishes to you.
