Faecal incontinence after LVMR

Hi guys, seems I have now developed faecal incontinence and also a prolapsed bladder! I feel I'm nearly ready to buy adult diapers which is really depressing me! Do you think the incontinence could be another problem from the Ventral Mesh Rectopexy? I'm seeing my Colorectal Surgeon on Thursday. So scared about what might happen next!!!

If you do require Adult pull ups, ask at your Hospital that you had your surgery in you maybe able to get a monthly supply. It will not cost you anything. I am not sure if the District Nurses would be able to point you in the right direction. ( A packet of Adult pull ups is approx $50.00 at the chemist ) so if you can get them through the DHB would be good.
