Aledronic Acid/rise in blood pressure

Has anyone noticed that their blood pressure has risen, whilst on Aledronic Acid. I've been on AA for just over 4 years and feeling sick since taking my weekly 70 mg on Saturday , decided to take my reading today . It was much higher than when I last took a reading. Has anyone found similar? I'm thinking of coming off this medication.

I am no expert - but you should take several readings over the day if you haven't already, since it varies so much.

Obviously it also rises with age, though probably only a tiny amount per year.

I agree, not only over a day, but at least a week taking morning and evening BP and see the average. One high reading does not mean much as BP fluctuates a lot depending on many factors. It’s the persistent high average that is a concern.
