sclerotic lesions

last year I had a partial nephrectomy for a kidney tumour which was discovered to be benign. During the investigations I was told I had numerous sclerotic lesions on my skeleton. I have waited since March for a NHS referral to Haematology. We have now decided to go Private. I am aware that the lesions could be benign ? Has anyone had this ? I am female.
