I have had a spinal wedge fracture in the past ( a few years ago I think tho was unaware) and about 2 years ago diagnosed. I wanted to try out pickle ball but not sure a good idea as worried about slipping . I think my risk of fractures fairly high in some areas tho wud need to check with GP again as results were a while ago. Anyone done Pickle Ball or know if a bad idea with osteoprosis

I think it is up to you what level of risk you are prepared to accept. For example, I have some spinal compression fractures but take a weekly outdoor bootcamp class. I am careful about the exercises I do but am willing to accept the risk of slipping over on a grassed surface to maintain my fitness (this hasn't happened so far). I would not go skiing though!
