hi,I have recently had a urine test, and the result was a trace of protein in urine, that doesn't sound good, has anyone on here had kidney issues, I think it will be the 2 zoledronic acid infusions I have had, either that or a allergic reaction like contact dermatitis, I have a bit of a rash at the top of my chest it's a bit itchy I am using a anti itch cream and a antihistamine, any help please.

I cannot comment on urine protein but I developed itchy/allergic/hive type chest rash after taking Alendronic Acid and also an allergic reaction in one eye area with very swollen lid and cheek. I am 80 and have never had such allergic type swellings/rashes ever. GP attributed them to face creams with which I disagreed because my routine had not changed. I subsequently found that this is a reported side-effect of AA. I’ve since changed to Risedronate because of joint pain from AA. So far, so good but I’m now very wary of side effects from these drugs.
