orthoshoes for severe osteoporosis
I don't know if Orthoshoes are specifically good for OA and OP. I have them and they are comfortable walking shoes. I wait until they are on sale before buying. They do have good cushioning and the toe box is big for those of us with bunions. Whether they are better than others claiming similar comfort I don't know. Orthoshoes let's you try the shoes indoors with the option to return them if they don't meet your needs. I don't know about other brands' policies.
yeah, thanks after reading elsewhere I don't think I will get orthoshoes, I think good walking shoes will be better for osteoporosis and osteoarthritis.
We may not have been talking about the same brand. I have Orthofeet. Is that what you meant, or orthopedic shoes in general? I find Orthofeet good for walking but there are certainly many other options that are described specifically as walking shoes. Good luck finding what works for you.
I walk everyday and I am amazed at how the new style walking sneakers really make a difference. I do about 5.5 miles a day and have no leg or back pain.
Not scientific but since cancer diagnosis I have been going to the gym daily and my normal mid/lower back pain has disappeared. No longer take pain relief or muscle relaxer medicine. One good outcome from this cancer issue.
