No but I’ve just looked it up on Google and I wouldn’t take it unless it had been prescribed by a doctor which I think is very unlikely.

Why don’t you ask your doctors for a referral to a physiotherapist to try and help with your muscle wasting? I think that would probably help you more. Or you could ask your doctor for a medical / exercise referral to a gym. A lot of gyms run special medical / exercise referral classes a couple of times a week for people recovering from various conditions. I’m sure you would qualify. They are either free for so many weeks or have a very low charge.

thanks, I can do exercises at home I go for a 45mn walk 5 days a week and do light weights, with not having any testosterone and now severe osteoporosis you can't make any gains, that's why Iam looking into ostarine, there is some good reports on it with low dose,

Male here. I'm not currently taking it but it's on my list to research further along with some other similar compounds.

yeah I have locally advanced prostate cancer psa0.03 I finished treatment in 2016 but my testosterone has not recovered that is why I have osteoporosis, my 6monthly psa check is beginning of Sept so I think it's best to wait till then, I think ostarine will be better for me with p/c.

Never heard of it before but upon researching ostarine it looks safer than a lot of osteoporosis drugs and yet it is not fda approved as there isn't enough research into it and not available to purchase except on prescription and good luck with finding a doctor who will prescribe it.

how about Creatine ? There are no known risks and lots and lots of good research

I agree with you. One Swiss professor was recommending it long time ago for bone health in elderly. I read the articles in German long time ago. I believe it even helps to strengthen the matrix of the bone. Unfortunately for us like Radars and me it could be dangerous as Creatine could elevate the DHT and if it also heppens with us on ADT to fight prostate cancer than it could be dangerous therefore contraindicated.

We should ask for a second opinion about Creatine use in prostate cancer from a competent MO.

My MO is not recommending it, but I am still hoping that Creatine use is still possible in a prostate cancer setting for bone health as after years of low testosterone we all slowly turn osteoporotic.

I did find a clinical trial with Creatine Monohydrate in prostate cancer, but does it mean that it is safe? (Will not fuel the cancer if it elevates the DHT?)

I am taking creatine how can it raise dht if I have got no testosterone.

I don't know, but we all have some testosterone. My is between 0.3 to 1.2 even on ADT. most often around 1. Our adrenals produce it.

my own testosterone is shut down, it is below low reference limit.

I have to say even creatine without any testosterone isn't working for me I am just taking it for my bones hoping that it is helping, that is why I am looking into ostarine for sarcopenia and osteoporosis it's hard work.

Creatine should help you. Do you drink lots of coffee like me? Coffee could interfere with Creatine.

don't drink any coffee all creatine does is about 2lbs waterweight
