I see it's still possible to post on the American Bone Health community, although it is in the process of moving over to a different, US based platform. Just want to reassure people that as long as enough Americans (and Canadians) participate here there will still be relevant support. The main difference is in the types of medication prescribed in various parts of the world, and sometimes confusion arising from the different names some medications receive, as well as whether something is approved in one country but not in another. As long as we North Americans make it clear we are not in the UK when we post, then we should be able to avoid most muddles!
And as far as supporting one another through a difficult condition, that is truly an international concern!🦴🤗

For some reason I thought the American Bone Health community was closing today, but apparently it's not till 7th November, so a few more days' grace! Presumably it won't be possible to post here after that? I'm wondering whether they've edited the date they close, as previous responses suggested people thought they were only getting a few days' notice. I'd also missed the post saying they're actually merging with the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation, although they did say to join that instead.
I don't have it to hand right now, but it is shared in American Bone Health community, in a post reminding people that the HU community is closing. I'll see if I can find it, and will share. (Not American myself so will just stay here.)
