Your pharmacist ought to be able to tell you about interactions when taking statins. I know you shouldn’t have grapefruit or grapefruit juice but apart from that I’m not sure.

Pharmacists will have online access to drug interactions or you might see what it says on the leaflet that comes with your statins or you could email the company who make your statin - there will be an address on the leaflet.

Check about any side effects to be aware of too. My GP gave me a referral for blood test if I had any signs of muscle pain/weakness. I got a phone call from her to do the blood test regardless. Was then told to stop taking immediately!
