I refused it re side effects & I have 6 vertebral #s. Have you had any #s? I believe they're trying to ban it in USA re can actually cause them in rare cases etc. & with my luck it wasn't worth the risk!
Have you had previous fragility fractures?
If you ever need to come off of Prolia (after having more than one dose) you need to go onto a relay drug to avoid rebound fractures so you need to know which bisphosphonate you can tolerate, obviously not risedronate is not an option. Going onto Prolia should be looked at as a lifelong commitment as coming off of it is not an easy or straightforward option.
