The ROS have quite a lot of info on exercise.
How do we locate ros article?
Is this link any help to you? theros.org.uk/information-a... I think if you wish to see the mags that ROS send out periodically, you have to be a member of ROS. There is lots of info on their website though.
Kaarina thanks for link as found information very interesting and reassuring! Hooray we can still exercise as we please except need to be aware of sports that are risky for falls etc.
I think do whatever you do gently. ROS advice is to increase time spent rather than overworking, or using very heavy weights.
I’ve just got a rebounder and am finding it very helpful. They seem like such gentle excercises but after 2 or three minutes you really feel like you’ve excercised. If you look on you tube you can find ‘beginners ‘ excercises for osteoporosis on them. Supposed to be very beneficial. I do them outside, weather permitting so I get my vitamin d at same time 😊.
Good luck and best wishes x
