I have severe osteoporosis and have suffered spinal fractures. I was advised "The Bridge" is the best exercise to strengthen the core muscles which helps with your back. I would strongly advise you to take a look at the Royal Osteoporosis Society Website its very helpful and informative and has videos of various safe exercises. You can also give them a ring and get advice free of charge and they will send you out information and booklets. theros.org.uk Tel 0808.800.0035. Good Luck
Weight bearing exercise like walking is good as is pilates and yoga for muscle strength. If you Google exercise for osteoporosis sufferers I'm sure you will find something to suit you x
