Hi Everyone. I’m confused about vit K2MK7. I need to re-order, but not sure of best brand nor the right dosage. I’ve had natto based from Nutrizing and the dose is 600 mcg. I looked on Lamberts healthcare, but couldn’t find it there. What are people recommending? I’m in the UK. Thanks very much.

hi snowybear, I use the nutrizing and have done for at least 2 years. I buy direct from them or you can buy at Amazon.

Lamberts is a good brand and reasonably priced - that's what I buy.

Thanks for reply - I’ve had Lamberts before - giving Nutrizing a whirl this time. What with the D3, prunes etc, I hope it all does some good!

Most of us take 90-180mcg, or maybe 200, a day, following Australian guidelines.

thanks for that - gone with Nutrizing this time. Could do with some Ozzy sunshine!

What does “natto based from Nutrizing and the dose is 600 mcg” mean? I know what natto is and that it is the best source of vitamin K2.

don’t know, natto based is best apparently but the dosages are confusing - just hope it does some good! Thanks for reply

600 mcg a dose seems high for MK7. As Met00 indicates, Australia suggest 180 mcg per day. My capsules are 100 mcg so I take 2 a day. MK4 is quite different and the dosage is usually measured in mg as a much larger amount is required. Found this, which although it is a commercial site does give quite a clear description of suitable dosages of Vitamin K2 MK-4 and MK-7.
