Hi, i don't know if my post will help any of you. But, i concern that most of people had back pain experience like me. I just want to share the tips that i got from my chiropractor on how to relieve back pain and as well as your spine. You can see my post before i had scoliosis and spondylolisthesis. And now i start to change my lifestyle for just to get better. From what i know, to reduce your pain. Beside fisio, you need to reduce caffeine in your daily life. Its really hard for me too because i really love coffee. But i start to stop drinking it now. Same goes to ice and cold water. Better if you change it with warm water. I also start drinking milk in every morning and also taking supplements. You can also change your sleep habit and posture. I start wearing back braces at my work place and its really help me to correct my posture. And last stop wearing high heels. Find a suitable shoes. You can refer from someone that you know. On my country, my chiropractor suggets me to wear MediFeet shoes. So far, i feel the difference a bit. It may takes time but i hope it will works for any if you. I know its not too much but i just want to help maybe someone out there that knows nothing like me before. Feels free to share if you got others tips.

Hi nnsaf

Thank you for posting. I too have scoliosis and did see a scoliosis surgeon a few years ago and he was surprised that I used no aids. I have had scoliosis since early teenage years and nothing was ever done about it, so my body has adapted. I have always exercised and continue exercising daily. The surgeon told me there was no point intervening at this late stage as my body had coped thus far. I also have a LLD of 3.5 cm but wear no lifts. I have very little discomfort generally on getting out of bed, which soon goes. I went to see him as I have lost a lot of height and wondered how much more height I may lose. His reply was that I was almost rib on hip bone so not much more. I refuse to give up my two cups of coffee because I wish to continue doing some things in life that I enjoy! ;) I have been wearing "sensible" shoes for a long time now and wear them out quickly with the daily walking. ;) I take supplements. I do not take adcal or calcichews as I get the calcium I need from my daily diet (hopefully) and take a prescribed Vit D capsule daily. At the last check I was told my Vit D levels were excellent. I like sardines. :)
