Hi. I am 48 years old and went through a total hysterectomy at 35. My scores are not good (level 3 risk) and i know ive been VERY lucky not to break anything . I have severe gastroparesis, which makes it difficult to treat. I am not a big fan of modern medicine because of the fact that it will treat what it's intended to treat, however, side effects are super scary. The only thing I can take now reclast but the side effects, especially effecting the jaw and teeth scare me soooo much. Any input would be greatly welcomed. Happy Friday to all!!!

Apprehensive of Reclast

HI i am 42 and at 34 had a total hysterectomy due to having poly cystic ovary syndrome and endometriosis, which could never be managed by suitable medication for many years due to an intolerance of synthetic progesterone that was in many of the drugs prescribed to women. I already suffer from AN INCURABLE illness, Depyutrens disease which developed after my hysterectomy, so i have no movement and cannot use my right hand, i am right handed also. I HAVE RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT I HAVE OSTEOPOROSIS IN MY SPINE AND HIP AND RHEUMATOID arthritis in my left knee and right elbow. I was already taking vitamin D AS MY DR had said tests had come back that i was deficient and now i have just started taking the medication for osteoporosis, it is ALENDRONIC ACID. I take it 1 a week. will let you know how i get on with meds as i have only had 1 so far .
